I don’t think it is a coincidence that most holidays celebrated about  now are related to light somehow.
Of course there is Hanukkah, the festival of lights: celebrating the miracle that the oil enough for one day lasted 8 days. During Hanukkah we light candles and display them for the world to see. We celebrate light.

The other day some friends of mine informed me that the MEOSZ (Mozgássérültek Egyesületeinek Országos Szövetsége), the national organization of disability associations, posted the following picture:
