(fluff) Friends in a Box!
My totally, absolutely favourite entry in the Second (fluff)Friends Fan Film Festival! No, I didn’t make this one, it is just totally awesome! This should totally win, and if it doesn’t I shall throw most of my bluey fund at them (admitting that it is not much).
Oh yeah, and I’m gonna get the plushie Uniko! Yes!
Shabbat the Queen
This video–song and the imagery together–from Aharon Razel’s Singing with Aaron DVD/CD ROM summarizes pretty much why I love the Shabbat.
Day 15
I had the pleasure to watch the Russian film “Night Watch” with my brother yesterday. Today one of my friends in Hungary informed me that the tetralogy (is that a word?) is available both in Hungarian and English, so I sent pooe Ef to the English bookstore to get me the books, which he did. Can’t wait to read them!
I always loved Soviet science fiction, with Kir Bulychev’s short stories at the top, and now my love for Russian sci fi is rewarded with an awesome film, and, as I am informed, a brilliant series of books.
I also set sight on some other books I’d like to read while I am cut off from the rest of the world. And I also have a list of films I need to see, not to mention season 4 of Battlestar Galactica and season 5 of Stargate Atlantis.
The only worrisome thing right now is my seemingly constant need for platelets. It seems that I eather have a nosebleed of some platelets dripping at any given time. My numbers are picking up, with a lovel 0.7 today. Soon my mouth a esophagus should start to heal and then I can replace the fictious hot dog with a real one.
Day 12
The news of the day: My counts are up to 0.2! Woo-hoo! Yay!
I’m also done with my fluff film. Now that I’m totally second only to Spielberg, I’m gonna win not only the three foxees, but the gift certificate as well! (Yes, my ego is not only slightly inflated!)
Those were the good news. The last couple of days I’ve had to deal with not only the usual discomforts, but massive kidney cramps and an obvious failure of anti-fungal meds. I was switched to new ones, and got magnesium and something else today, and luckily the cramps are mostly gone and the fungal infection as well. My fever is still a little problem, but hopefully it’s just nothing.
Ef is gone for the better part of the week, he has exams and what not, and he is temporarily replaced by my elder brother Chalin (Chaim, as some of you may know him). He brought a guitar along, so I have beed entertained, mostly.
Gotta thank HaShem for giving me such great brothers!
Day 8
For some reason Day 8 didn’t get a normal update.
Basically the day was spent in meditation, reading the Torah and a nice heart-to-heart with Efrayim.
